The man who authorities say pointed a rifle with a scope into Donald Trump’s golf club lashed out at the former president in a series of social media posts.

Ryan Wesley Routh made his political preference known as he repeatedly messaged Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Following the first assassination attempt of Donald Trump, Routh wrote: "You should visit the victims in the hospital of the trump rally victims and attend the funeral of the fireman that died; Trump certainly never would. Show the world what real leaders do."
